#113 - Alexis Johnson

Join us this week as we sit down with Alexis Johnson, Anchorage's Housing and Homeless Coordinator. Not only is she responsible for some of the positive changes coming to the homeless community, but rumor has it that she may have even played cupid for a certain couple (*cough* Steven and Ellicia). Alexis takes us on a journey through her path to politics and the pivotal moments that led her to become an influential voice in the community. We dive deep into Anchorage's homelessness crisis and explore the innovative solutions that Alexis and her team have implemented to combat this urgent issue. But more than that, we discuss the importance of empathy and how we can all learn to understand and connect with those facing homelessness on a personal level. Tune in to this inspiring conversation and discover how we can all be part of the solution to end homelessness in our communities.
